Supporting the community Cook Project

The Community Cook Project thrives on collaboration, passion, and the belief that food has the power to bring people together. Whether you’re an individual, a local organisation, or a business looking to make a positive impact, there are several meaningful ways you can support our work.

Ways to support us

  • Practical support goes a long way. Practical contributions go a long way. By donating ingredients, basic pantry staples, or kitchen equipment and utensils, you help us run more accessible, low‑cost sessions.

Every tin, chopping board, and bag of vegetables helps someone cook with confidence.

  • We are always open to building partnerships with housing associations, local authorities, charities, community groups, schools, foundations and local initiatives. By working together, we can:

    • Deliver joint workshops

    • Share resources

    • Expand our reach to new groups

    • Strengthen community networks through food and learning

If your organisation believes in food as a tool for connection, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Businesses can play a valuable role in helping us grow. This might include:

    • Sponsoring a series of workshops

    • Funding ingredients or equipment

    • Supporting community events

Your organisation can directly contribute to improving wellbeing, lifetime skill learning, food education and helping people learn through shared food experiences.

  • One of the easiest ways to support the project is simply to share it. Tell a friend about a workshop, follow our updates, or chat to someone who might benefit from joining in. Community grows person by person.
